Forest review
The Forest provides an antidote to the creeping commercialism of other venues. Housed in a converted church, it contains an art gallery, a non-profit café and a club-cum-music venue at which all-comers are encouraged to get organised and get up on the stage. It hardly needs adding that the quality control can be a little unreliable, but all events are free.
