Thanks to its prime site, this contemporary café can get terribly crowded in August. But it's worth trying for a table: the quality of food (soups, salads, decent bread and daily specials) means it's a great place for lunch, a snack or even a leisurely breakfast. No frills, no dawdling, but quite a gem.
