Run by a Swedish couple with a friendly and laid-back style, Boda operates like an inclusive neighbourhood pub, albeit one with cheese platters and moose sausages on the menu. Its owners have since built a mini-empire for themselves, with Sofi's (63 Henderson Street, Leith, 555 7019), the Victoria (265 Leith Walk, Leith, 555 1638) and Joseph Pearce's (23 Elm Row, Calton Hill & Broughton, 556 4140).
