Founded in Edinburgh in 2004 but such a success it now has branches in Glasgow, Oxford and York, Demijohn is a deli for runny things. You chat with staff, you sample what's on offer, then you buy a demijohn and the shop fills it with the chosen product: liqueur, wine, whisky or other spirit, oil or vinegar. They also sell chutney and jam. Choosing is a big part of the fun.
