Performed almost entirely in Gaelic, with English surtitles, a Scottish literary and cinematic classic is adapted for the stage care of the National Theatre of Scotland, Robhanis and A Play, A Pie and A Pint at Òran Mór. When a ship carrying 50,000 cases of whisky runs aground on a remote Scottish island during World War II, much shenanigans, hilarity and slurring occurs as islanders race against time to pilfer, hide and make good use of the booze.
