Ford and Bettany to tie the knot!
The TOMB attends a very strange 'Firewall' press conference with Harrsion Ford and Paul Bettany.
Mar 22 2006
Sorry for the dearth of up-to-date news emerging from The TOMB these past two days, but your dedicated online editor was in Barcelona interviewing Harrison Ford, Paul Bettany and director Richard Loncraine for their new film, 'Firewall'.
The Q&As will go up on the site next week, but it's also probably worth mentioning that I attended the strangest press conference imaginable during the trip.
Conducted in Spanish, with 'the talent' answering in English, there was confusion from start to finish, with local journalists bizarrely questioning 'Firewall's Oscar chances, Ford claiming that acting informs his carpentry and that 'Indiana Jones 4' is already finished, and one strange fellow giving the actors a silver tray containing a Sony Playstation, furry hand-cuffs and some cash.
Just when The TOMB thought it couldn't get any stranger, Bettany announced his engagement to Ford, kissed him on the cheek and the pair ended the session by walking off the stage handcuffed to each other. Very strange, and more than a little disturbing.
Anyways, I'm back in the office now, so normal service should resume.
