'The Departed' podcast

Chris Tilly discusses Martin Scorsese's new gangster thriller and interviews star Ray Winstone.

Oct  6 2006

Martin Scorsese's brilliant new film 'The Departed' hits screen today, and to coincide with the release we've again teamed up with VUE cinemas to record a podcast on the underworld epic.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson, the film is loosely based on Hong Kong crime thriller 'Infernal Affairs', and is a welcome return to the ultra-violent gangster flicks of yore for Scorsese.

The film also features a fantastically sadistic performance from Ray Winstone as mob enforcer Mr French, and we've got an exclusive interview with the British star in which he discusses what it's like to go toe-to-toe with Jack Nicholson on screen.
