'Toy Story 3' announced
The eagerly anticipated animated sequel is set to hit cinema screens in 2009.
Feb 9 2007
Disney Animation have announced plans to make 'Toy Story 3', with John Lasseter passing the directorial reins to longtime collaborator Lee Unkrich.
The franchise will be in safe hands however, as Unkrich has previously co-directed the likes of 'Finding Nemo' and 'Monsters, Inc'.
Michael Arndt, the Oscar-nominated writer of 'Little Miss Sunshine', will pen the script, the details of which are currently being kept closely under wraps.
What is known however, is that 'Toy Story 3' will no longer be a straight-to-DVD title, with the film hitting big screens worldwide in 2009.
