Trailer frenzy
'Die hard 4.0', 'The Bourne Ultimatum' and the brilliant 'This is England' all arrive online.
Apr 5 2007
The world of trailers has gone crazy this week, with many of the summer's blockbusters hitting the net in three-minute form.
The best of the bunch is probably 'Die Hard 4.0', which looks a little too much like a big-budget episode of '24', but nevertheless suggests that the bizarrely moniknered film will be John McClane's most spectacular adventure yet.
'The Bourne Ultimatum' also looks good, if a little less over-the-top, with Matt Damon's globetrotting super spy finally (maybe?) getting to the bottom of the mystery behind his identity and amnesia.
There are also excellent new trailers for 'Spider-Man 3' and 'Grindhouse' (which I couldn't be more excited about), but the best of the bunch is the newly released 'This is England' trailer.
Shane Meadows' new film is an inspiring, harrowing and deeply moving examination of skinhead culture in the early '80s, and much like the film, the trailer sounds good, looks good, and is bloody great.
