'Elektra' Poster Unveiled
And star Jennifer Garner is looking every inch the glamorous superhero.

A new poster for the forthcoming comic book adaptation ‘Elektra’ has just appeared online, and it seems to tick all the requisite boxes for this sort of movie.
Pretty girl in tight outfit? – Check.
Pretty girl holding knives? – Check.
Scary looking goons with big weapons? – Check.
Brooding characters hinting at mystery? – Check.
Indeed 'Elektra' is actually looking like a pretty interesting prospect – a 'Daredevil' spin-off that resurrects one of that film's few memorable characters, dresses her up in tight red leather and then sends her on her vengeance-seeking way.
'Alias' star Jennifer Garner again takes the title role, and in director Rob Bowman ('The X-Files', 'Reign of Fire') the producers have certainly picked a helmer who can walk that fine line between action and drama.
Yet the last time a big budget action movie revolved around a heroine, the result was ‘Catwoman’, and we all know what happened there.
'Elektra' is unlikely to be that bad, but whether it's actually any good, we'll all just have to wait until January 21 (the film’s UK release date) to find out.
