BAFTA Nominations Announced
'The Aviator', 'Vera Drake', 'Finding Neverland' and 'House of Flying Daggers' are the early frontrunners.

'The Aviator' dominated this morning's BAFTA nominations, receiving a whopping 14 nods, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio's outstanding portrayal of Howard Hughes.
'Finding Neverland' and 'Vera Drake' were close behind, with 11 nominations a-piece, 'House Of Flying Daggers' received nine, while 'The Motorcycle Diaries' was bringing up the rear with a total of seven.
In the acting stakes, Kate Winslet received two nominations in the 'Actress in a Leading Roll' category, for 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'Finding Neverland', while Jamie Foxx landed Actor and Supporting Actor nods for 'Ray' and 'Collateral' respectively.
And in the Alexander Korda Award for 'Outstanding British Film of the Year' the nominations were 'Dead Man's Shoes', 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban', 'My Summer of Love', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Vera Drake'.
The awards take place at the Odeon, Leicester Square, on Saturday February 12, and will be hosted by Stephen Fry.
