'The Fountain' teaser hits the net
The first trailer from Darren Aronofsky's sci-fi epic gives us a glimpse at greatness.
Nov 10 2005
The teaser for Darren Aronofsky's eagerly anticipated feature 'The Fountain' has arrived, and as expected, the film looks visually stunning.
An epic story that takes place in the years 1500, 2006 and 2500, the trailer gives little away, although we do see stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz transcending space and time, and we also get a first glimpse at a tree that apparently plays an important role in the story.
Ain't It Cool News has also just posted an interview with the director himself (click here to read). It seems that editing has finally wrapped on the film, and while he is over the moon with the final cut, there's still no word on a release date.
After the brilliance of 'Pi' and 'Requiem for a Dream', can Aronofsky possibly make it three for three? We certainly hope so, and we'll keep you posted as more news from 'The Fountain' hits the net.
