'Ocean's Thirteen' ready to roll?

Producer Jerry Weintraub is already working on a plot for the second sequel to 'Ocean's Eleven'.

Jan  4 2006

George Clooney could be stepping back into the shoes of gentleman thief Danny Ocean before the year is out.

Producer Jerry Weintraub is currently trying to get a sequel to ensemble heist movies 'Ocean's Eleven' and 'Ocean's Twelve' off the ground, and hopes to have the creatively titled 'Ocean's Thirteen' in production sooner rather than later.

Weintraub has been working on a plot with Clooney and director Steven Soderbergh, while Brian Koppelman ('Rounders', 'Runaway Jury') and David Levein have been brought onboard to write the script.

There's no word yet on a plot, though expect a grand heist to take place in a glamorous setting, and keep your fingers crossed that the story improves on last year's preposterously smug and self-satisfied 'Twelve'.

man,I hope this will be another mind guessing movie with a great heist, intellengence, and most of all.....a great story! like Ocean's 11 was great story with Juilia Roberts, and Ocean's 12 was great with Catherine Zeta-Jones, I hope Ocean's 13 is even better with the new lady face on the scene Posted on Jun 27 2006 16:19

That would be so cool if Benedict did indeed go bankrupt and came to Mr. Danny Ocean for some help. I have yet to see Ocean's Twelve, and recently watched Ocean's Eleven (I'm slow in the game) but I feel that Ocean's Thirteen will be a great move! I'm hoping for it to be in theatres before the year's out! Posted on Mar 12 2006 15:13
