See more of 'The Da Vinci Code'

An intriguing new clip has arrived online, plus an illuminating interview with Ron Howard.

Feb  9 2006

Are there any TOMB readers out there who haven't read 'The Da Vinci Code' yet? No, didn't think so.

Whatever your opinion of Dan Brown's ubiquitous tome (and personally I thought it was an enjoyable, forgettable pot-boiler not worthy of all the fuss it has caused), the cult of Da Vinci is set to increase this May when the film adaptation hits screens.

This week NBC broadcast a sneak preview, featuring an interview with director Ron Howard followed by a brand new clip from the film.

During the interview, Howard discusses the fact that he watched 'The Exorcist', 'Rosemary’s Baby', 'Marathon Man' and 'All the President's Men' when preparing for the film (can't see the relevance of any of them personally, but I guess Ritchie Cunningham knows best).

And the clip features Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) and Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou) examining the Mona Lisa for clues.

To see the sneak peak, click here, but be warned, you need Windows Media Player to watch it.
