Naked Killer (1992)
Director: Clarence Ford Fok Yiu-Leung
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A camp, high gloss and utterly incoherent conflation of Nikita and Basic Instinct. Yam plays Tinam, a cop under the spell of the lovely Kitty (Chingamy Yau), but when Kitty's father is murdered she joins a kind of finishing school for hit-women led by Sister Cindy (Ng). Although its titillating softcore sex has made the film something of a cult item in the West, it's actually rather tamer than the Verhoeven film, and the glassy look of it tends to magnify innumerable shortcomings in the credibility department.Author: TCh
