Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A very inconsequential yarn about a group of disenchanted small time smugglers (a cowman, an Algerian girl, a couple who run a club with a tiny dance-floor) in a village somewhere on the frontier of France and Switzerland. A gold run seems to offer the prospect of the freedom they all crave, but oddball characters, some torrid clinical sex and a lot of coming and going through the woods and across the mountains fails, regrettably, to add up to anything either significant or diverting.
