From Time Out Film Guide

Rural Ireland, and the village of Tullymore is about to receive a rude awakening. According to the newspaper, someone in the community has just won the Irish national lottery, and it shouldn't be long before the truth will out. Bannen and Kelly are the two old codgers sniffing out the likely recipient, but the discovery that the lucky winner dropped dead on the spot before he could claim the dosh brings with it a new challenge - how to step into his shoes and collect the loot. Charming performances and easygoing humour are the strengths of Jones's enjoyable Oirish romp, even if the romantic sub-plot's as flat as a peat bog.
