Danger Route (1967)
Director: Seth Holt
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The late British director Seth Holt has something of a cult reputation, although even his supporters would probably admit that his was a frustrated and frustrating career, being full of films that are half-impressive, half-banal. This espionage thriller, with Johnson as a hired assassin caught in a complex web of betrayal and violence when he's commissioned to murder a Czech scientist, is typical; the narrative is confused and fragmented, but the tension is taut, especially when Johnson is called upon to kill his own girlfriend.Author: GA
