Off to the Revolution by 2CV (2001)
Director: Maurizio Sciarra
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This celebration of car and comradeship is set during the peaceful 1974 Portuguese revolution. The heady days of politically idealistic youth are well evoked in a buddy movie of the road. Two friends in Paris decide to join the Lisbon uprising and en route pick up a now uneasily settled mutual former girlfriend. Adventures of the body and spirit ensue, but it's all attractively played and enjoyably watchable.Author: GE
