From Time Out Film Guide

The Crazy Gang (street buskers) are signed up as extras for a film, but when they arrive on set in natty pinstripes and bowlers they're mistaken for the financier's emissaries and given control of the production. Chaos ensues plus some of the boys' favourite stage routines. Made in the same year as Oh, Mr Porter!, director Marcel Varnel's best-remembered British picture.
