15 Amore (2000)
Director: Maurice Murphy
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Likeable period drama with the wife (Hensley) of an officer serving overseas taking on four PoWs - two handsome Italians and a Jewish mother and daughter. Filmed as a kid's remembrance by writer/director Murphy, this tale of surrogate fatherhood and sexual spice takes place in a kind of Eden composed of the nearby lakes and fields. Good performances all round, and accurate period detail make for a pleasant, sunny and thoughtful little picture.Author: WH
