The Four Feathers (2002)
Director: Shekhar Kapur
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Yet another version of the old yarn (see above) about a chap redeeming himself after his former comrades brand him a coward. Muddled and miscast (lots of prim Brit accents from Australian and American actors), it shows signs of troubled post-production, losing its narrative line more than once, although picking up with some stirring action in the Sudan. As for contemporary resonance, its critique of imperialist arrogance sits uneasily with the standard-issue heroics.Author: TCh
