Fun (1994)

Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Two teenage girlfriends murder an old lady - for fun. The film unfolds in flashbacks as a court psychiatrist and a reporter probe the girls' motives (past in colour, present in grainy blue and white). The girls keep talking about the TV movie they'll inspire ('Is that how you expect to see yourself: Drew Barrymore?'), and that's exactly what this feels like: a TV movie. There's even a Pretty Woman-type pop promo in the middle. There is one big plus though - two arresting, naturalistic performances from Humphrey and Witt.Author: TCh
