Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This second feature from minor-comedian-cum-notorious-cult-figure Paul Reubens (alias Pee-Wee Herman) isn't in the same class as Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, but still provides plenty of prize pickings for kids, kooks and academics. Pee-Wee is down on the farm with his talking pig Vincent when a circus pitches tent in the adjacent field. Soon our hero is convinced there's sawdust in his veins. So are we, because comedians don't come much stranger than Pee-Wee. You'd think twice about taking candy from this baby, but his deadpan perversity is both funny peculiar and funny ha-ha.
