Caluga o Menta (1990)
Director: Gonzalo Justiniano
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
An effectively gritty account of the nihilistic existence led by a selection of petty criminals, druggies, down-and-outs and prostitutes living on the margins of Chilean society. There's nothing particularly original or insightful about its portrait of disaffected youth, but the actors have talent and the right faces, and Justiniano directs his rambling story with a good sense of economy and detail.Author: GA
