The Chimera of Heroes (2003)
Director: Daniel Rosenfeld
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Ambivalent documentary portrait of Eduardo Julio Rossi, a white rugby coach, a one-time avowed racist collector of Nazi memorabilia, who saw the light and took it upon himself to venture into the jungle, teach the game to Toba tribesmen, and train and manage Argentina's first indigenous team. It's interesting material, but Rosenfeld's slow-drip vérité style demands patience.Author: TCh
