'Chubby' Down Under and Other Sticky Regions (1998)
Director: Tom Poole
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Chubby is a Northern blue comedian and this follows the sex-obsessed lard barrel, in shiny helmet and patchwork suit, as he takes his humour on a 1997 tour from Melbourne to Perth, via Sydney, with a stopover in Hong Kong. It's disturbing to think that this revolting humourist has such an immense and dedicated fan base (each date sold out within four hours) including many women, who shamelessly chortle as he cavorts across the stage with an oversized, blow-up doll.Author: HK
