Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

You've seen it all before: pals approaching mid-life crisis explore the Great Outdoors, rethink values, and by trail's end vow never to complain about putting out the trash. Three married men - bewildered Mitch (Crystal), playboy Ed (Kirby) and unfaithful Phil (Stern) - are pitted against the rigours of a 200-mile cattle drive led by cowpoke Curly (Palance), so tough he lights matches on his face. Crystal's self-pitying character starts out promisingly - an early highlight being his lecture on ageing to schoolchildren - but the constant rapid-fire quips become increasingly predictable.
