Clarence, the Cross-Eyed Lion (1965)
Director: Andrew Marton
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Clarence is a myopic beast who has difficulty focusing on his prey, Thompson is the animal behaviourist who tries to set his vision straight. There are also poachers closing in on the local gorillas. This was the movie which spawned the TV series Daktari. Director Marton (once Lubitsch's editor) efficiently blends the human drama with African wildlife footage.Author: GM
