Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Once upon a time in a distant land, Formby - the goofy, gormless, ukelele-playing comedian (?) - was a sure-fire box-office success up North. Here he's an ice-cream seller at a racetrack with ambitions to become a jockey, opportunistically employing his natural empathy with a horse, and tangling with a psychiatrist and hordes of performing fleas before he rides to victory. OK if you like that sort of thing.
