Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

An alarmingly creaky adaptation of Barry England's play about a regimental outpost in India in Victorian times, and the flutterings about honour occasioned when the bounder in the mess attacks a lady. His secret trial by subalterns' court martial reveals unsuspected murky depths in which rigor theatricalis is warded off only by a valiant starry cast giving their all in the big scenes with which each is thoughtfully provided.
