Miss Robin Hood (1952)
Director: John Guillermin
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Sub-Ealing whimsy finds shy children's writer Hearne unwittingly embroiled in a life of crime when eccentric youth club leader Rutherford enlists his help to swipe a whisky formula she claims was stolen from her ancestors. A jaunty but rather inane little number (co-written by Patrick Campbell), largely notable as one of the few films made by the short-lived Group 3 Productions, set up by the National Film Finance Corporation with the specific remit of making low budget pictures.Author: TJ
