As Robin Wright's (hardly unglamorous) Moll overcomes poverty, abuse, prostitution, drink, rich people's spite and the loss of her loved ones, her journal is recounted by Moll's fellow servant and ally Hibble (Freeman) to her orphaned daughter Flora (Corcoran).
