Shooters (2000)
Director: Colin Teague, Glenn Durfort
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
It's that old 'one last job' scenario, set in London's East End, with a dash of friendship going sour. Gilly (Dempsey) gets out of jail after doing time for a killing actually committed by his mate J (Howard), only to find that the cash he's owed is tied up in a gun-selling deal with Glaswegian hardcase Jackie Junior (Butler). What our two boys don't know is that J's boss (Dunbar) is on to their little scheme, and sooner or later something will have to give. Here's plot spinning for its own sake, routine gunplay, low rent locations by the yard, and no very compelling reason for any of it.Author: TJ
