Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

BBC TV's hit pop series of the '50s transferred to the cinema with the minimum of plot and the maximum of music: showbiz wannabes Leslie and Todd hop on the 6.05 Glasgow to London train; a host of stars, not surprisingly, are rehearsing on board. The line-up includes Petula Clark, Dankworth and Laine, Jim Dale (and youthful comic duo Mike and Bernie Winters), but when we finally reach the studio, it's Lonnie Donegan who closes the show.
