From Time Out Film Guide

The bereaved brother of a well-heeled raver who plunged to death in a clubbing accident, Carl (Rhys) metamorphoses from a Scunthorpe beer drinker to pill-munching club kid in a textbook example of London-centric condescension. Accompanying Carl on this odyssey are a transvestite (Donovan) and his brother's former girlfriend (Guillory). In the infrequent moments when he can think straight, Carl realises that his brother's death may have been linked to impresario and drug wholesaler Damian (Curry in standard flamboyant form). Not to be taken too seriously, but entertaining in an overblown, high camp fashion.
