Renaldo & Clara (1977)
Director: Bob Dylan
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Dylan's endlessly long attempt at a personal feature intercuts excellent concert footage from the Rolling Thunder tour with some pretentious but quite enjoyable play-acting from his retinue (Baez, wife Sarah, Allen Ginsberg) which capitalises on the rumours and mysteries surrounding Dylan's love life. Not nearly as bad as its vitriolic US reception suggested, but if you don't like Dylan you won't be converted.Author: DP
