Robin and the 7 Hoods (1964)
Director: Gordon Douglas
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The Rat Pack moves the 'robbing the rich...' routine from mouldy old Sherwood Forest to Prohibition-era Windy City, else the plot motivation for Sinatra belting out 'My Kinda Town, Chicago Is' might have seemed somewhat opaque. Otherwise, it's exactly as you'd expect. The gang do their stuff (for the last time on screen), and Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen picked up an Oscar nomination for the songs.Author: TJ
