Just Married (2003)
Director: Shawn Levy
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Alpha couple Tom and Sarah (Kutcher and Murphy) are swept up in a whirlwind romance and a fairy tale wedding. And that's where things start to unravel. Against quaint backdrops from Bel Air to Europe, the newly-weds find their love tested by a chain reaction of disasters peopled with goofy international stereotypes. Worse still, Sarah's creepily persistent admirer Peter has come along for the ride. Both leads are charismatic eye candy, with an energetic knack for comic timing, most of which is frittered on sloppy, predictable material. Flashbacks fails to tauten the plot; we learn little about the principal characters; and even with the modern nuptials theme and a handful of gross gags, it's all more coquettish than raunchy.Author: AHa
