Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Surprising, really, that this rock-bottom British 'sex' comedy wasn't called Adventures of a Private Dick - that's about the level of the humour. A plot that isn't even worth mentioning, much playing to camera, plodding scenes and dreary gags make the whole thing instantly forgettable. Stanley Long's mercifully brief series, following in the naughty farce wake of the Carry On films, began and ended equally limply with Adventures of a Taxi Driver (1975) and Adventures of a Plumber's Mate (1978).
