After Office Hours (1935)
Director: Robert Z Leonard
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Standard Depression era plot, with Gable overdoing the brashness as a working newspaperman who resents the socialite (Bennett) he assumes to be slumming when she joins the paper's staff. Their love-hate affair, conducted in pretty flat wisecracks, comes to a head when a friend of hers is murdered and he tracks down the killer. Fine Charles Rosher camerawork, otherwise unremarkable.Author: TM
