Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

An animated feature parodying Fantasia which is sufficiently inventive to hold its own. By sticking to short popular classics and allowing different animators to interpret each one, what it loses in thematic unity and sustained trajectory it makes up for in wit, variety and even, once or twice, a fine controlling intelligence. Occasionally kitsch intrudes, and the interpretations remain too single-mindedly literal to allow impressionistic flights that the music might deserve, but overall very amiable, quirky fun. Allegro, in fact, but non troppo. CPea.
