The fourth Amicus horror omnibus, comprising four Robert Bloch stories, set in an asylum and boasting a fairly ingenious framing device whereby the glowering director (Magee) sets a young psychiatrist applying for a job (Powell) the task of discovering which of the patients is a former colleague gone mad. Cheerfully gruesome (especially the last tale involving Lom and a murderous manikin), but done without much wit or style.Author: TM
