Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1982)
Director: DA Pennebaker
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The whole flashy, rockist affair is based on a wobbly premise of sentimentality. It's a record of the Ziggy character's farewell dates at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1973, and while the likes of 'Oh You Pretty Things' and 'All the Young Dudes' still raise a smile, the presiding image is of those flesh-crawling glam-rock costumes and stage antics. Go for the music, or not at all.Author: JG
