Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Winsome, winning adventure tale from producer Rock Demers, about a young girl, gifted with exceptional hearing, who forms a close relationship with a dolphin named Elvar. The film has a strong educational element: lots of footage of hump-backed whales spouting off the East Canadian coast (and elsewhere), and a marine biologist at hand to explain the science. The adventure seems to consist of characters rushing about everywhere and much falling out of speedboats, followed by lots of affirmative hugging and smiles. An eco-sound kids' movie, with a liberal pinch of sea-salt.
