Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This HBO version of a Tectonic Theater Project piece sifts reactions to the shocking homophobic murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1998. Based on transcripts of the company's interviews with local citizens, it's moving, sometimes thought-provoking, but it hasn't been rethought in terms of film, except for the distracting casting of so many familiar faces.
