Gasoline (2001)
Director: Monica Lisa Stambrini
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Stella, the most glamorous petrol pump attendant in the world, accidentally kills her girlfriend Lenni's mother during a row. The lovers (Sansa and Orioli) drift off in a bid to escape the law, but are thwarted by a gang of homophobic drug addicts. This would-be hip movie (drum 'n' bass tracks, arty scruffy girls) is devoid of laughs, and with an emphasis on style alone fails either to convince or to engage.
