Starting in 1982, three kids enamored of Steven Spielberg’s Raiders of the Lost Ark spent seven years filming their own no-budget, shot-for-shot remake. After the result was secretly screened in Austin for a live crowd 14 years later, this extraordinarily faithful cover version quickly became the stuff of fanboy legend. To call Anthology’s screenings of this gem “rare” is a vast understatement; see it while you can, i.e., before the copyright police show up and confiscate the print.Author:
