Movie review

From Time Out Chicago

This flick deserves some sort of award for maintaining one of the oddest facial expressions throughout an entire film. In virtually every frame, Arnett and Forte, playing indistinguishable brothers who long to be fathers and artificially inseminate Wiig, have creepy ear-to-ear smiles plastered on their faces. They gaze lovingly and optimistically at each other, the video store guy, the cute girl down the hall…whoever. As a skit on the wildly inventive show Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, which director Odenkirk and writer Forte both contribute to, the off-putting vibe would work wonderfully. Trouble is, this isn’t a three-minute sketch, and our smiles quickly dropped.
