Strange Wilderness (2008)
Director: Fred Wolf
Movie review
From Time Out Chicago
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse than Grandma’s Boy—it does! This stoner comedy, also from Happy Madison Productions, follows the goofy misadventures of wildlife-television host Peter (Zahn) and his band of bong-ripping nature enthusiasts (including Adam Sandler mainstays Covert and Dante) as they follow the trail of Bigfoot in South America. The acoustic lament from Superbad’s Jonah Hill about how much he hates his stepmom and her kids is funny, but the rest will garner laughs only from those who are really, really high on drugs. Illegal drugs.Author: Drew Toal
